Renew Passport Short Tips
Due to got someone asked me about details on renew passport with kiosk and recently I've just did it. So here would like to share it for your reference.
To renew passport at kiosk located at Pusat Bandar Damansara. Operation hour 8:30am - 3:45pm (Mon - Fri). Not open on Sat & Sun & Public Holiday.
What you need to have:
1. Chip based Passport
2. MyKad
3. 1 Passport size photo
4. Cash RM300 (32 pages) or RM600 (64 pages)
That's all you need to have!
Procedures: (advice to do it early in the morning)
1. Queue up at the front door at 8:30am (usually they will late a bit to open and not many waiting there. starts queueing only around 8:30am so u no need to be there very early).
2. One by one go to an officer desk pass your passport n myKad n your right thumb for scanning. Then they will direct you to get an envelope.
3. Fill in what is necessary on the front of envelope (name, tel no, IC) and put in your passport photo inside (NO need seal the envelope).
4. Total got 4 kiosk, go to either one available. Follow the instructions - roughly process i can remember is insert ur passport, myKad, thumb print not sure and lastly ask u insert cash.
5. Get the receipt which will tell you when can collect and where to collect. Usually next day after 8am you can collect already.
*Got an officer standing around kiosk to guide you if you are not sure.
*Total processing time around 5-10 minutes.
Collection:
1. Go to 2nd floor counter 16 (stated in your receipt).
2. Pass your passport and myKad they will assign you a number.
3. Wait not more than 30 mins (subjective to how many queues).
4. When your turn just sign your name and that's it!!

BKK trip
10-13 June 2006
Day 1:
My journey continue....after landed at 3pm at KLIA. Taken luggage then my sis fetched me to LCC Terminal to catch next flight to BKK at about 6pm. I'm like zombie waiting at the terminal. So so so so sleepy and I did fall asleep. The flight was delayed and by the time reached BKK already 9ish at nite. Took cab to hotel and meet up my friends. Showered and went out to have some food. Then go to visit some clubs. My first time and first night clubbing in BKK! something different! hehehe.
This is the hotel I stayed. share room with my friend's sister. RM60 per person. OK lar, I feel comfortable with the hotel.
Day 2:
It is Sunday and only day I can go to Chatuchak to shop! So I won't miss the chance. We took a cab to Chatuchak but we've agree to deroute to a gem stone factory first. A lot cab drivers will take their passengers to the factory to get some earnings before to their destination with lower taxi fare. I bought a ring there but cheap one la...
After 2 hours hanging around the factory then we headed to chatuchak which i wish to go one. Heard my friends said a lot things selling there and it is true! I was shopping separately with my friends alone...better still to shop alone and u got more time to get what u wan n no wasting time. Bought a lot and spent most ofo the money there :p. Later they were tired and just go back hotel while I'm still shopping around and waiting to meet up Makoto. After met up we still hang around for a while then we go back to hotel together. Refresh myself and went out dinner together with my other friends. We had seafood dinner and quite cheap.
The plan after dinner was go to the palace area to see fire crackers in conjuction with their King's 60's anniversary. But heard Makoto's friend said no fire crackers. So we changed plan to Suanlom Night Bazaar shop again. Nothing much there and basically same thing what you can get in Chatuchak. After a while hanging around there we go back to hotel. Who knows there are fire crackers which can c from hotel room. Nice one and long one. Better...at least didn't miss to see it.

Day 3:
My friend actually signed up a half day tour initially plan to floating market but due to is was actual day for King's anniversary the market closed. So we've to change plan to have city tour and some temples. Went to Grand Palace located at China Town for first stop. Then continue to Wat Po, another temple. Big and beautiful temple. Then we move on to gem stone factory again, silk factory, hand craft by handicap shop, and lastly to traditional massage center. We did massage but I don take Thai massage. Tried before was painful. I just did Aromatheraphy massage.
After the whole tour, the tour guide dropped us at MBK shopping centre and we shopped around. Pass by Siam Square, Siam Paragon etc....there are a lot shopping places which you can't finish shopping within a day. I've stopped buying since enough from Chatuchak :D
Took BTS back to hotel and rest a while. Then go near by for a steamboat cum bbq dinner eat all you can. Makoto also joined us. Satisfied dinner with lots of meats!
Rest at hotel after dinner after whole day out. I got sorethroat since back from UK trip and now worst from eating heaty food. at last got sick back at homeground....

Went to Four Faces Buddha for a pray and walk back to hotel while shop along the road side. It is not far to hotel actually. Lucky didn't take cab :p Didn't do much thing as need to check out at 12 and go to airport at 1pm. Then is time to go home....what a tiring trip but fun!

6-10 June 2006
Day 1:
Took 12 hours flight from KL Tuesday Midnite to Amsterdam airport and transit there for 4 hours then took another 1 hour fokker plane only reach Leeds airport Wednesday morning (7 hours back from KL). It was tiring. After reached checked in into hotel then straight go to the office to meet up some of them in COE office. Then talk talk talk n work work work n all infos keep going in my brain which already half dead! Too much info for first day with tiring body n brain. After work the CEO brought us to some where at Yorkshire to have English dinner. The way to the place the scenery are nice. It is countryside feel. You can see big piece of green land and brick houses. Knocked out when back to hotel after long hours working with jet lag problem...lucky is a nice hotel to have nice sleep. First time sleeping in a hotel room alone.
Took KLM flight. above pics are Amsterdam airport. Nothing much to shop there and the things very expensive. Below are Leeds airport. Eh got many London Cab which I find cute. got pink one also! hehehe. That time I think I took london cab with my luck but not as nice as in the pic.
I stayed in budget hotel call Ibis Hotel (www.accorhotel.com). It is quite nice hotel and facilities are quite new. The lift looks advance. The room was comfortable and nice toilet.
Day 2:
Got a great & long sleep feel better and fresher. Had buffet breakfast at hotel lobby (top 2nd from left) abt 7 pound each person leh...so expensive and not many choices. I still prefer buffet style in malaysia more varieties and more delicious.
After that whole day work and work. Learn up the hardware (totally all new to me). Got demonstrations on how the system works. Read the source code without any documentation which I got lost. Again...lots of info into my brain. When reaching afternoon time which is night time in malaysia my brain slow down and get tired....
After work another guy took us for Indian food somewhere but I donno where :p. Nice restaurants and a lot of customers. Food were nice. After makan then he brought us around for sight seeing and been to a place call Saltaire.
top left pic 1 is a scenery on the way to yorkshire. pic 2 is wat i ate - sausages with mash. big portion quite nice but sausages too salty :p following is the Indian restaurant.
bottom pics is a place used to be Cricket club and now became restaurant and bar. I had lunch on the third day b4 leaving leeds. Those colorful packets are different kind of sauces which I feel interesting :D
Below is the Saltaire place. The river used to generate powers for whole town. (roughly what i heard). I like that sport car. I think is Lexus or something else? hehee din really c the name but i like the outlook. saw another black beemer as well but din take the pic. the last pic with flower is lady bird poppy. nice? special n plant by the guy who took us around one.
Day 3:
More tired and because leaving in the evening. Same thing had same breakfast at same place (if stay longer i'll bored with the food). At work more relaxing cos nothing much can do. Just finalize something and propose the proposal for the contract. Found out the system going to take over without proper documentations and some nearly none of it. A lot things need to be done before can really move on to the source codes... :(
About 6pm flight to Amsterdam airport but this time shorter transit time for about 2 hours. Shopped some souvenir but din buy much due to too expensive with exchange rate :p
Again took another 12 hours flight back to KL. reached at about 3pm. But my journey continue again....see next post.

Away for a week
I'm leaving to UK tonight for some work purposes then back on Saturday afternoon but straight will take another flight to Bangkok for holiday...yah yah yah....happy that going for holiday soon but surely will be very tired rushing here and there.
Last night went to TF for the launching of BJ37. It was cool and fun although there are some screwed up...but still fun with the whole team! Photos taken but yet to get them...will post later.
Tonight I will shadow Tony for 2nd block in SPK Tropical theme class...will be wearing beach wear! hohohoho *wonder can see sexy sexy bikini or not* hahaha. After the class I have to rush to airport for my flight at 11:10pm. I've already ask my friend helps me to check in my luggage so will not that rush for me. *finger cross that I won't be late*
ok...stop blogging here for a week. will share with you all about my trips and photos. I'll be back on next Tuesday night. ciao....

Extended "Butt" Day Celebration
Friday night had a nice dinner with the gang...but just few of them (some are not free due to Miracle Launch practice). We had dinner at Ms. Read at 1U. It is quite a nice chill out place. The environment nice and comfortable.

This morning got a birthday gift on my work desk. Its from my colleagues. And lunch time we all go for celebration in IOI mall. Here are some pics.
Kent, Fong, Shirlyn and Li Ling...all of us birthday in same month. Everyone of us got a small cake. There is another colleague who is not joining us lunch also birthday in June.

Happy Dumpling Festival
Today is Dumpling Festival...and also is my lunar birthday (chinese calendar) - 五月初五. I was born in this day and of course I love to eat dumpling (ba chang). However, it's been long time I didn't eat and no chance to get one to eat. Until this morning got colleague brought some to office and I had 1 and half pieces :p....I wanna to eat since few days ago but unable to locate one and no time to locate the stalls which selling... I still will eat again if I manage to buy some.... Too bad my family didn't make it.
Just now office had a farewell lunch for my manager and another colleague. We had Pizza Hut, chicken wing, fried meehoon, jelly, secret recipe choc banana cake etc.... I'm very full now :p Wish all the best and good luck to them. Here some photos taken just now...

Passport
Yesterday I took half day afternoon leave purposely to do renew passport. After the farewell lunch then head to Putrajaya. Spending about half an hour to find the immigration building but end up they said can't do passport there! I was cursing them that make me wasted so much time travel all over. By the time I realized is about 3pm. So faster rush to Subang Airport as told from my friend that the number can get until 3:30pm. By the time I was there already past 3:30pm and the number ran out. Asked to come back next day morning...ish ish....feel like punching ppl... Ok fine, then decided go to damansara another immigration thought of use the kiosk but....again...it closed at 3:45pm... sigh...no luck for renew yesterday. The result just wasted time travelling. Will do it again this Friday morning at the kiosk at damansara then only go to work.

Last Friday (26 May) planned to go dinner then view lanterns at Bukit Jalil Stadium. But it was rain heavily. However we managed to have dinner later...and thought of just dinner and go home. But by the time finished dinner and pass by Bukit Jalil Stadium the lanterns on and we decided to follow as what we planned....here are some photos taken tat night.

I like the two lanterns below...千手观音...the side all are small hands with eyes in it.

Tai Thong Promotion
Just to share the promo to you all. My colleagues and I will try it next Tuesday inconjuction with farewell for one of the colleague. I wonder now is it RESIGN season? My manager resigned and same department QA Engineer resigned. Both last day on 31 May. So will have farewell lunch on 31 May for whole department. Then the other departments got 2 or 3 resigned also in this month. The season make me be flustered and thinking am I joining right company? I've started to feel something unusual and uneasy sometimes...well just don't care and keep it up until I meet my next good opportunity.
Lantern Festival
Start from tomorrow 26/5 till 30/7. 3pm - 12am. there is Lantern Festival at Bukit Jalil Stadium. When you pass by bukit jalil stadium you can see a lot colorful lantern already decorated in there. Quite nice. Tomorrow will be the first day and my colleagues all plan to go there pay a visit. Entrance fee is RM5. This is organize by 988 radio. If you are interested you can go anytime.

Miracle 2006
Next Saturday 3rd June will the a charity cum launching for Fitness First. The event will starts from 8am till 12 midnite. Anyone of you interested pls go to The Curve and join us! It will be fun while workout while doing charity! Let's have party!!
Clement's Birthday Party
On Wesak day 12 May. I woke up early around 9pm although slept late a day before. Why? Because gotta help Clement as a cheap labour to prepare food for his birthday party at night. Around 10ish am Clement came and pick me up then we headed to Giant Puchong shopping for food. Larry also joined us together. It was fun to shop for grocery and it is always the best for me...We started to shop follow the food list. Keep on filing up the trolley and in the end we need 2 trolleys for check out! And it costs hundreds only for partially food!! Other ppl is feel free to bring their food.
About 1pm only me and Clement go to Osman apartment and start prepare the food. Osman and Michael help a bit. 2 of us kelam kabut to prepare everything...we had laughs, rest, eating while preparing the food... Later Dennis came and help up a lot... My responsibility is to prepare chicken wing but I'm busy help to prepare others and totally forgot it until when I open the fridge only realize. It's already about 6pm and guests coming at 7pm onwards...I was so rushing to fried it and finished up till 7ish pm.... I'm worry that the chicken wing taste not nice as I simply marinated it. But the response very good. It was first food finished up and not enough also. hehehe.
Gosh....worked as cheap labour from 10 am till 7pm non-stop....It's really tired towards end of the nite....can see from my face in the photo... We hang out till 1am plus.... Next morning have to go to Curve for Quarterly (workshop) also... For more details on that night pls go to Osman site --> Clement's Birthday Party

Something Weird Happened
My car fixed yesterday and after work I drove to Summit gym. However when I'm passing toll, trying to get my Touch N Go card from the docker that I usually put the card but the card is missing. I asked my sis bf who is fixing the car for me got take or not but he says didn't. I just use it on Saturday nite and Sunday whole day the car is locked and I didn't drive to any place. Really don't know how it is missing. *puzzle in my head*.... According to my sis bf said he removed the car battery that time (alarm on) and a guard came by to see what's happening. Then he left the car without battery for 2 hours. He suspected someone steal it while the car under that condition.... but weird is just the card missing but not others ??? I really don't know how it happened...
Do you guys experienced some weird things that you will never understand and know the answer? come tell me I wanna listen to some stories =D

Les Mills Quarterly
It is just over last weekend. Body Jam is going to release BodyJam 37 on 3rd June. It is so much different compare to previous releases. Much harder to learn and teach. Really a big challenge to me. And I feel stress that I just got about 2 weeks time for me to do my clearance before new release launch. If not I have to do 37 for my clearance and its much more harder.
Currently I felt so tension and short of time and confident. Still thinking what should I do. BJ37 has 3 blocks to learn. It is including African dancing, tribal/tropical dance, Latin with samba, Ragga, Contemporary, Hip hop, Jazz & Rock...mix so many kind of dancing inside!!! and its 90 mins to learn?!
I'm not sure can I cope with the clearance and new release practices or not. I have to tell myself to try my best as I can. *finger cross my leg not so pain (it is still pain whenever I do workout) and my stamina good enough to do all these

Car Broke Down
Just noticed that it's been a month I don't blog...sorry to my readers....been busy at work and at gym.
OK what I want to blog today is about my car broke down =( It suppose happened on Saturday morning. Got a symptom that I cant start my car....but lucky I managed to start it after some trials. so never bother for the rest of the day. Then Sunday whole day I stay at home and evening planning to go back Seremban to attend a wedding dinner. But the luck not on me anymore. Get up the car and try to start same thing - can't start it. I pray it is same like yesterday that I can start it cos I'm late to dinner... but end up I've give up.
A friend helped to get me battery water and jump start it. It was fine last nite. But not this morning again! sigh....so have to ask my sis bf fetch me to work and lucky my office just near by. He will helps to either charged the battery or change a new battery...
Being a single woman is not easy when come to this kind of car problems... and woman always don't know or not to take care car properly compare to guys...I knew that it's time for me to service the car but always not free during weekend and I know that once service I need to put the car there for at least half a day. But I need car to go somewhere and no one will fetch me :(
How how how??? must think a way to solve this :p
