Singapore Trip

It was a tiring trip in conclusion :) but satisfied trip because bought a lot of things partially mine la...some for friends :D

Monday night - checked in River View Hotel. Rested a while and of course as usual taking some hotel room pictures :p while waiting someone pick us up to go out for a drink. Went to near by around the river...I think some where Boat Quay behind Liang Court shopping mall. Had a black beer with windy night sitting outside quite a relaxing night. Too bad didn't take my camera out for some shooting...but fyi I'm still donno how to use the functions in it and get a best shot especially night scene :p

River View Hotel room...just SGD90 special rate booked by my boss. Nice and comfortable room la...got flat tv screen some more. However I don't spend much time in the room also :(

Tuesday - working day of course. Initially plan to go meeting with boss however I'm not needed. I gotta go another office to meet someone to get to know some info. I got off after lunch hour cos nothing much I can do. And lucky for that so I got more time to shop for what I suppose to. Went to Sim Lim Square search around for iPod Video 30GB which one of my shopping list. It's for a friend la. Mean time bought a arm band for my iPod.
Initially plan to meet up Cheryn, friend of mine working in Singapore for dinner. However I've got called up to go back the office to have a conference call and then later visit site (SMRT) which granted a temporary permit for that night only. Has to cancelled my plan and go to the site to see the hardwares setup and their control room.
After all, went to Chijmes next door to SMRT building. Can't remember the restaurant name but it is downstairs. There are a lot of restaurants in there and can see food quite nice with quite a lot of ppl dinning. I ordered a Carbonara :p crave for some time hehee. It tasted nice...try to get some pictures but failed to do so :( still not yet know how to handle the camera yet...sorry no pictures this round. It was hectic day for me so no time to take pictures also :((

Wednesday - Extended my stay for shopping (got a shopping list requested by some friends and myself)...meanwhile standby to go back to work. However luckily don't need to cos on my visit to site able to identify the problem which need to be solved. Checked out early around 10ish am then straight go to Queenway Shopping Center to get Nike shoes. Who knows not yet open before 11am...duh...wait...go opposite shopping mall Anchor Point to shop and the shops also open at 11am...duh again...walk around n waiting the shops open. Managed to find GNC there which I'm looking for some tablets...yeh yeh managed to get it with cheaper price compare to Malaysia (however Malaysia need to order) but here on the shelf! great!
Rushed back to Queenway Shopping Center to grab 2 pairs of Nike shoes, 1 pant, 1 top, 1 jacket for myselff :p a lot rite? cant resist la...much cheaper than KL oh. And know what? I gotta rush to FF Paragon @ Orchard Road to attend Serina BJam class where Kok Hoe joining as well. (That's one of my purpose to get the shoe and baju from Queensway first) hehe. But I forgot to get receipt from them. Plan to go back get it just incase something happen. Finished Bjam then makan then follow them to OneGeorge Street FF Plus (they have Bjam tuition there)....however I just went there shower then leave my bags in the locker and go back Queensway. Before I continue my trip, gotta tell you that FF Plus there has a nice view with swimming pool outside! too bad it was raining and no time for me take some pictures. hope got some other chances *wishing*...hehe
From OneGeorge street to Queensway again and this time not only get my receipt but also got request ealier to get a pair of shoe for a guy friend..okay..go search around with lots of MMS and calls and finally decided which to buy. Besides I've bought 2 Samsonite laptop bags as well, 1 big for myself and 1 small for my friend. From Queensway go to Chinatown to grab some crystals stuffs to make a bracelet for my friend (which you've seen from my previous post). I don't have much time to hang out at the shop which I usually will do 3-4 hours there. :( Came out from the shopping center then noticed it was raining heavily...I have to walk back to OneGeorge Street with umbrealla some more...worst is I'm too sure the direction and at the end drenched when reach FF :( Kok Hoe and Serena were waiting me...soli...worst still worst at that time was peak hour around 6ish with heavy rain hard to get a cab! Thanks to Serena trying hard to call a cab and thanks to Kok Hoe very helpful to help me get a cab by waving hand *hugs* Luckily manage to get one cab and I just hop in and quick bye to both of them...need to rush back to hotel claim my baggage and go to airport (need to check in by 7ish)...It was traffic jam all the way to airport but still manage to check in on time *phew* What a stressful day for me...lucky i didn't fall a sick from the rain hohoho. *touch wood*
My whole day cab fees really costly leh...I don't have time to take bus so gotta take cab lor. It costs me nearly SGD100 per day leh...expensive hoh? hopefully I can claim...and my phone bill shoot up to the max already hahaha....claim claim claim...which I need to find out :p
My shopping not ended there yet oh..hehehe while in airport called by someone to get iPod speaker from the duty free shop. It's really good use of 3G at that moment to show what my friend wants (of course he also got 3G services) :) OK...bought it and added one more bag to carry! I gotta carry a trolly suite case, laptop bag with heavy laptop, camera, iPod blah blah blah, a carrying bag with 2 new laptop bags (no way i can squeeze in luggage cos it's full already) and now another bag of the speaker...all hand carry to cabin leh...lucky got ppl help me put in compartment hehehe. phew...what a tiring day and looking forward to go home...

Here I'm home liao! hehe
